LOST or STOLEN PET

When our pets go missing or are stolen it can be one of the most stressful and emotional times of our lives, it is not knowing that makes it the hardest.

As an animal communicator lost pets are some of the hardest as each one is totally different. Sometimes they have been stolen, become lost when out on a walk on holiday in unfamiliar surroundings or become missing from home after something frightened them like fireworks. They can often be on the move so it can mean more than one session is needed not only to track them but to check if their situation has changed.

I realise that time is crucial with lost or stolen pets so I will always try to do the reading as soon as I can but it does depend on my work commitments.
Lost Pet

What to do if your pet is missing

1. Contact the microchip company and report them missing

2. Inform all local vet surgeries and rescue centres

3. Post on social media missing pet sites

4. Inform Dog Lost

5. Put up posters and leaflets

6. Ask neighbours to check all outbuildings and sheds

7. Place items of your clothing or bedding with your scent on in the area where your pet went missing.

8. Get in touch with local search or drone teams.

9. Some animals when they have been missing a few days their survival instincts start to kick in and they can become feral. Even though they hear their name being called they can go into hiding or even run as they are in panic mode which can be extremely frustrating for their families or professionals trying to find them. So time and patience is often needed. Sometimes the public think they are helping but it can actually make the problem worse, so always take the advice from rescue teams or drone teams.

Missing - Hiding

BOOKING FORM

Please leave the question section blank as I ask my own questions to get as much information for you as I can.

Please give as much information regarding what led up to their disappearance, where they went missing from, anything you think will be helpful and any messages you would like me to pass on.

Examples of some of the questions I will ask your pet

Are you still alive, injured or trapped?
Why did you leave?
Are you lost, can you get home, do you want to come home?
What can you hear or smell?
Has someone taken you if so can you describe what happened, did you travel in a vehicle, who you are with?
Can you tell me what you can see, houses, cars, roads, buildings, other animals, fields, water, streetlights?

I always promise to get as much information for you as I possibly can but I cannot give any guarantees to find your pet. This could be because they have been stolen and are unable to escape, they just don’t know where they are or they may not want to come home. I never give anyone false hope but will always do everything I can to help and support both you and your pet to get you reunited but it isn’t always possible. The information an animal gives me never means anything to me but can be invaluable to you in your search for them.
